Lead with the problem and its scope
Begin with one sentence describing what fails: the login is rejected, one channel has no audio, or several sources pause repeatedly. Say when the issue started and whether anything changed just before it. A report that distinguishes one episode from the entire account gives support a much clearer starting point than simply saying the service does not work. Include the exact error wording if the player displays one.
Identify the actual setup
Give the device model, player name and version if visible, and whether you are using Wi-Fi, Ethernet or a mobile connection. Include the source name and regional feed, or the movie title and year, or the series season and episode. For time-sensitive problems, provide the date, approximate time and time zone. You do not need to guess technical details that you cannot find; mark them as unknown instead.
List observations, not assumed causes
Write what happened during each check: another channel played, the same title failed again, or restarting the player made no difference. Keep the sequence short and avoid making several changes before testing again. Distinguish a successful login with empty categories from a failed login. These observations help narrow the issue without presenting a speculative cause, such as a server failure, as an established fact.
Use a reusable message structure
A practical template is: Issue: [symptom]. Started: [date and time zone]. Device/player: [details]. Source: [exact item]. Other sources: [work or also fail]. Checks tried: [steps and results]. Error: [exact text]. Account reference: [non-secret order reference]. Add a screenshot only if it helps explain the symptom, and review it first for passwords, personal details or private playlist addresses that should not be exposed.
Keep the follow-up in one place
Send the report through the published Strong 8K support contact and keep subsequent findings with that conversation. The website contact composer prepares a message for your review; it is not a background diagnostic connection to your device. If support suggests a step, record the result before trying another. Once resolved, keep the short fix beside your setup record so you can recognise the same symptom later without repeating every experiment.
