Check the volume controls you actually use
Start at a modest volume and check mute on the player, television and any separate speaker device. A remote may control the television while sound is routed somewhere else. Look at the selected audio output and notice whether headphones are still connected. Avoid turning every volume control to its maximum during the test; sound may return suddenly when you find the muted stage. First establish where you expect the audio to come from.
Compare another source and another application
Try another live channel or an on-demand title using the same player. Then check a known working sound in another application on the device. If all audio is missing, focus on device output and speaker connections. If only one programme is silent, record the exact source and investigate its audio options. This comparison helps you avoid deleting a working account when the silent component is outside the IPTV login or playlist.
Inspect audio tracks and connected equipment
During playback, look for available audio tracks and select another if one is offered. Note the original choice so you can restore it. If a television or computer is connected to a monitor, check whether that display has speakers and whether it has been selected as the output. Microsoft identifies an external monitor without speakers being selected as output as one possible cause of silence on Windows. For a soundbar or receiver, use the manufacturer guidance for supported audio settings.
Escalate with the useful details
Record the player and device model, the selected output, which sources work, and whether changing the audio track helps. If sound returns through built-in speakers but not through your normal speaker system, include that difference. Avoid a factory reset until simpler comparisons have been completed and settings can be restored. For Strong 8K support, a concise report saying that video works and naming the silent track is more useful than a general message that the service does not work.
