Identify the symptom before changing settings
Buffering, a failed login, no audio and an unavailable channel are different symptoms. Note what appears on screen, including the exact error text. Record the channel or title, approximate time, player and device. If an episode pauses but another channel plays normally, that detail is more useful than a general report that everything is broken. Keep the observation specific enough that support can reproduce or narrow down the issue.
Compare one source with another
Try a second live channel and an on-demand title if your account includes them. If only one source is affected, report that source rather than repeatedly reinstalling the player. If several sources are affected, continue with the device, connection and account checks. A single comparison cannot prove the cause, but it helps decide which question to investigate next.
Look at your usual connection
Check whether other internet activity is also slow or interrupted. If your device supports it, compare your usual Wi-Fi position with a wired connection. Notice whether playback changes when large downloads or other streams are active. Test under the conditions in which you normally watch. Avoid making several changes at once; a single change followed by a playback check makes the result easier to interpret.
Check the player and account details
Close and reopen the player, then confirm that you are using the correct account and supported login method. Check whether the term is active and whether other screens are already using the permitted connections. Use an official or verified source when updating the player. Do not erase saved account information unless you have a safe way to restore it and understand why that step is needed.
Compare available playback options carefully
If the same programme offers different quality versions, try one that is suitable for your device and connection. Note which version works and which does not. Source resolution, encoding support and network consistency can all affect the experience. Anti-freeze features do not remove every possible source, network or device problem, so a specific test remains more useful than assuming a feature name rules out an issue.
Send a useful support report
Include the source name, player, device model, connection type, time and the checks you have already tried. State whether other sources work. A short screen recording or error screenshot can help when it does not reveal private credentials; never include account passwords or private playlist tokens in a public post. Use the Strong 8K contact page to prepare your report, then review it before continuing to WhatsApp.
