List people and viewing times first

Start with the routine you already have. Note who usually watches in the morning, afternoon and evening, and which periods overlap. A family with three devices may only watch on one at a time, while a household with two screens may need both every evening. Counting simultaneous viewing situations gives a more useful starting point than simply counting the phones and televisions you own.

Give every screen a specific identity

Create a row for each likely device with its model, operating system if known, location and current player. Mark which one is the main viewing screen. Include how it connects to the internet and whether its normal position has given you problems with other streaming apps. This worksheet is not a compatibility guarantee; it gives support enough detail to recommend and confirm a suitable setup.

Rank your essential content

Give each person a small number of must-have channels or programmes rather than an unlimited wish list. For channels, add the country, regional feed and language. For a series, add the season, episode and subtitle requirement. Separate essentials from occasional interests. You can then test the important items during a trial instead of spending the whole period browsing a large catalogue without reaching a decision.

Confirm the overlap with support

Send a brief summary such as: two screens sometimes used together, a living-room television and an Android tablet, with different evening programmes. Ask for the simultaneous-connection allowance that would apply to your order. Device compatibility does not mean unlimited concurrent viewing. Confirm any account or player arrangement before setting up every screen, and avoid assuming that one household automatically receives an allowance for each person.

Turn the worksheet into a trial plan

Test your main screen first, then the second setup only within the confirmed allowance. Ask a household member to try ordinary actions such as finding a favourite channel, selecting subtitles and returning to a series. Record pass, needs help or unavailable beside each essential item. Review the result together before choosing a term, and update the worksheet when a device or viewing habit changes.
